  • if he yells at you for not eating
  • if you hear that he abused his last gf’s or how everyone hates him because ____ LISTEN, because sometimes rumors have truth to them
  • if he completely ignores you and gives you no explanation afterwards
  • if you’re a woman of color and you feel like you have to constantly explain racism or feel like you can’t talk about certain things because he might laugh/brush it off
  • if he has an ex that he is constantly talking to but he covers it up and tells you that she is a “psycho”
  • if she tries to contact you/goes to find you and he doesn’t do anything about it
  • if you tell him your boundaries and he says he understands, but through his actions, shows you that he doesn’t respect them at all
  • if you tell him that you are waiting for marriage to have sex and he says “well, if you change your mind..”

One thing I like about Pixar films is how the happy ending isn’t always what you think it’ll be. The toys don’t go with Andy to college, Gusteau’s restaurant gets closed down, Mike and Sulley get kicked out of university, Carl never gets Ellie to Paradise Falls. But they find out that what they wanted isn’t necessarily what they needed, and I really like the fact that kids get to learn that life doesn’t always turn out the way they dreamed and that’s okay.
